Stu Lee, Qigong practitioner and teacher for 25 years, and Susan, a dance movement therapist/psychotherapist with 35 years of practice, are collaborating in a series of workshops where we seek to bring the ancient art of Qigong together with a ‘modern dance’ (Laban Bartenieff) approach to ‘get into our bodies’. Our aim is to facilitate a deeper sense of your potential self, realised through embodied awareness and creative movement. These workshops are open to people of all abilities who love movement, who seek a deeper understanding of the language of the moving body, and those who are curious about how we work effectively with our body’s systems. Stu and I hope to develop these workshops as a regular offering through 2026.

“Susan and Stu took me on a journey of exploration; through movement, relaxation, grounding, breathing and spatial awareness. I found a content and complete sense of self.” ”

“The workshop today provided me with an opportunity to feel and sense my body as a physical and emotional container. Inhabiting it was pure joy.”

“I was happy to realise the infinite possibilities my body has. I actually thought I wasn’t able to have that freedom. The word that came to mind while my body was experiencing those free movements was ‘Liberation!’ I realised that this liberated state could be applied to one aspect of my present life. I felt relaxed and content after!”
