WELCOME

I am Susan Scarth, a senior movement psychotherapist with 37+ years experience, working in different state and voluntary services. I incorporate a range of professional skills to enable me to draw on appropriate tools for each person. My private practice is based in Leith, Edinburgh, where I welcome you to a creative and calm space. Together we will explore how to improve your mental and physical health - reaching a state of ‘bodyfulness’ (C. Caldwell, 2018).

Our bodymind is an integrated system of connecting networks, and movement psychotherapy aims to alleviate blocks, unravel confusions, clarify links between physical and psychological impacts, and so reach a more balanced and grounded sense of self.

We can work together to reduce

We can explore ways to improve
